The registration process below is for AYF/AYC athletes only. This includes flag football, instructional 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U. For cheer, it includes Tiny Mite, D8, D10, D12, D14, and Adaptive. Athletes must complete Steps 1-3. Coaches, student demonstrators, and peer partners should follow Step 2 only.
Please follow the steps below carefully. We will need all of this completed before your son or daughter can participate in any games or practices. If you have multiple children participating, we will need you to go through this process for each of them.
If your football player is age 12+, they may be eligible for the JHL. The JHL registration can be found here:
We have put together a comparison of 12U AYF and JHL, which you can find here. If you have questions about where your child should play, or if you want more info on the difference between JHL and AYF, please contact email@example.com.
Cheerleading and football are physically demanding sports that will require a significant commitment to practices and competitions/games from late July through early November. Due to the physical nature of these sports we ask that you assess whether your child is ready for this commitment. Football is a contact sport and does require an athlete to be comfortable with the contact for not just their own safety but for the safety of the other members on the field. Please be confident that your child is ready for this type of physical contact. Cheerleading and football require a full commitment from both the student athlete and their family.
These are TEAM SPORTS, each and every team member is vitally important to their team. It is expected that you will attend each and every practice, game and competition. Unexpected situations may occur, such as illness, which is understandable. What is not acceptable is when a team member (or their parent) decides that it is NOT important to attend a practice, game or cheer competition. A child not attending practices places that child at a disadvantage for learning new skills, keeping up with the rest of the team and could put other team members at a safety risk. For example, if just one athlete is missing from a cheer practice the coaches can not run a full practice.
While we encourage and welcome multi-sport athletes, it is expected that during the football and cheer season, the Bulldogs are your first priority should conflicts arise.
