While much of our energy goes into creating great football and cheer athletes on the playing fields and mats, it is done so with an undertone that is far more important. As much as we teach tackling and tumbling, we also require that all of our athletes maintain a level of academic accomplishment in order to participate. For those who excel in the classroom beyond the minimum guidelines, the AYF recognized their achievements as part of the Academic Achievement Award program. 

This year (recognizing students for their 2016-2017 school year), 50 Bedford Bulldog athletes were recognized in the Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels.
